HOME CARE PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO

Show families the joy and relief care can bring into the home.

Capturing real, spontaneous, natural moments in the home, showing the real care behind what you do, so people can choose you with confidence.

Real carers, real visits, real kitchens and living rooms, so a daughter can see her dad laughing again and trusts you before she calls.

The problem

  • Stock imagery, the same hand on the same shoulder on every home care site
  • Posed, cold or staged shoots, with nothing of the relationship between a carer and the person they visit
  • Phone photos from visits, with clutter in the background and consent that's hard to show
  • A different look in every branch, so the network doesn't feel like one brand
  • A carer leaves and the content goes with them, so pictures you paid for can't be used
  • One big video and nothing else, so once it's live there's nothing more to use

Result: you've got content, but not a library you can publish confidently, so families take longer to trust you and good carers take longer to find you.

The solution

One team plans and shoots photography, video or both at once, built around a clear brief and delivered as a house style library every branch can use across the website, social and recruitment.

  • Care in real homes, the moments between a carer and the person they support
  • Kitchens, gardens and living rooms, the settings families picture
  • Consent agreed first, with each client and family before the day
  • Carers who look like themselves, for recruitment pages and headshots
  • One look across the network, so every branch's pictures match
  • One shoot, months of content, with short video for social and the website

Outcome: your team has a bank of warm, on-brand content that shows the care you give in people's own homes and helps drive enquiries and applications.

WHY REALCARE MEDIA

Stress-free production

One shoot produces years of usable content

A small team setting up a photography shoot in a home kitchen

Twenty-three years in commercial photography, with video now alongside, for brands including Lenovo, Tesco, Cow & Gate, AEG, VW and Lloyds, with work selected for Lürzer's Archive and 200 Best Ad Photographers Worldwide. Anyone can take a photo or a video. The skill is knowing what a moment needs to say, and capturing it in a way your marketing team can actually use. Most production companies know how to shoot and edit. Very few understand how to tell the story of care at home in a way that helps drive enquiries, attracts the right carers and gives families the confidence to call.

  • Home-aware planning, built around each client's routine, privacy, dignity and consent
  • Calm, low-disruption capture, with a small footprint so the visit stays calm for the client
  • People-first direction, so carers and clients relax and sound like themselves
  • A proper brief upfront, so what we capture is what your team actually uses
  • Ready-to-use files, organised for website, social, recruitment and PR
  • An extension of your marketing team, not another supplier to manage

The guardrails we build into every brief

Wrong cues we avoid
  • Overly cluttered kitchens and distracting items in the background
  • Anything personal in shot that the client hasn't agreed to
  • Hand-on-shoulder poses that feel like stock
  • Medical equipment and visible aids in frame where possible
  • Anything that makes a home feel like a clinic
Warm cues we capture
  • A carer and a client sharing a laugh in the kitchen
  • Everyday moments with purpose, baking, music, a walk in the garden
  • Natural, dignity-led interaction between carer and client
  • Familiar details that make a home feel lived in
  • One look across every branch

Natural, warm, premium
Built around your values
Delivered so your team can actually use it

WHAT ONE DAY CAN PRODUCE

We turn one shoot into months and years of content

Photography and video, shot together by one team. Maximum output, minimum disruption.

Video is no longer optional. People want to see your care, your product or your technology working, not just read about it. Short testimonials from the people you serve. A real glimpse of the day. What makes you different, shown rather than claimed.

But here's the problem: most healthcare teams don't have the time or skills to make professional video in house. And when they try, it either looks amateur or sits unedited on someone's laptop for months.

We shoot photography and video together. You get both, without doubling the time on site, and everything comes back edited, formatted and ready to use: short clips for social, longer pieces for your website, and stills that match.

Frequently asked questions

Do the people you support need to appear on camera?

Not necessarily. We can work with professional models in a real home, which keeps disruption to a minimum. Where a client and their family are happy to take part, that's always more powerful, and consent is agreed with them first.

How do you handle consent and dignity in someone's home?

We agree the consent process with each client and their family before the shoot begins, including what they're comfortable with and which parts of the home are off limits. We only shoot people where approval is in place, and dignity guides every frame.

How disruptive is the day?

One production day is the usual starting point, planned around the client's routine and the carer's visit. We keep a small crew, so the home stays calm.

Can we shoot across several branches?

Yes. We plan a route that gives every branch pictures of its own area while keeping one look across the network.

Can we capture care, recruitment and headshots in one day?

Often, yes. The key is prioritisation. A one-day shoot can usually capture care moments in a home, recruitment shots and carer headshots. If you want everything covered, we agree what matters most first and build the shot list around it.

What are your rates?

It depends on the number of branches, the shot list, whether we're using models and where the content will run. After a short discovery call, we'll propose clear options with deliverables, so you can choose what fits your priorities and budget.

Ready to show families the care you give?

Book a short call. We'll talk about your branches, your challenges and what you need the content to achieve. There's no obligation and no hard sell, just a conversation to see whether we're a good fit.
